Do you crave colour in your home but find it difficult to commit to a bright, bold, or contrasting colour on all four walls of a room? Painting doors on the interior of your home provides an easy hit of colour to a neutral palette that can have tremendous impact, with little effort. And with little commitment – if you find yourself in need of a change, painting a door is quicker than painting a whole room.
We’ve all seen how an exterior front door painted in a contrasting or bright colour can add instant impact to the curb appeal of a house. How about painting the inside of your entry door to provide the same sort of impact on the other side? CIL paint colour suggestions: Sapling MC20; Chile DL08; Spinnaker MC28; Old Glory DL07.
No need to stick with the standard white when it comes to your interior doors. Black doors are a sophisticated contrast to white trim. CIL paint colour suggestion: Dark Secret DL51.
A colour scheme for a room is balanced and completed by taking one of the colours of the scheme onto the doors. CIL paint colour suggestions: Fabuluxe DL20; Swordplay SE50.
Or if you find it difficult to commit colour even to a door, adding colour to just the doorway trim can add a graphic quality to a space. CIL paint colour suggestion: Starfruit CP20.

And how much a computer screen can change the colour you see. What sort of colour are you looking for? We can certainly recommend something that’s more suitable. Are you after something more grey? Darker? Just let us know and we’ll get our design experts onto the job for you!

The tan is Jefferson House from our soft and elegant collection. You’ll find it on paint chip SE46.

really!! I have 3 walls in my livingroom in that color and it doesn’t look like that all! I guess it shows how lighting can change the appearance of paint.

I love the door done in swordplay, that looks sharp! What tan color was used for the hallway?
